Pedagogia Social: O Trabalho do Pedagogo em Instituição de Acolhimento

RESUMO

O presente artigo surge a partir do interesse em destacar o trabalho desenvolvido pelo Pedagogo em uma determinada instituição de acolhimento, ou seja, enfatizar sua atuação neste campo dado como social e sua importância no desenvolvimento educacional, social e também profissional dos adolescentes. Para compreender o trabalho pedagógico em dada instituição se fez necessário apoiar-se em pesquisadores que discutem a Pedagogia Social: MACHADO (2008, 2009), CALIMAN (2010); Educação não formal: GOHN (1999,2006), e formação do pedagogo: LIBÂNEO (1999,2001), bem como dados decorrentes de pesquisa de campo. O pedagogo é capaz de atuar em diversas áreas, conforme prevê as Diretrizes Curricular Nacional do Curso de Pedagogia do Conselho Nacional de Educação (2006). Dados vêm tomando uma dimensão preocupante, a atuação do pedagogo deve ser reconhecida e valorizada, pois diversos são os espaços educacionais que permitem sua atuação, principalmente no processo de (re) educação, (re) socialização e, sobretudo na transformação dos sujeitos.

ABSTRACT

The present article arises from the interest in highlighting the work developed by the Pedagogue in a given host institution, that is, emphasizing its performance in this field as social and its importance in the educational, social and also professional development of adolescents. To understand the pedagogical work in a given institution, it is necessary to rely on researchers who discuss Social Pedagogy: MACHADO (2008, 2009), CALIMAN (2010); non-formal education: GOHN (1999, 2006), and pedagogue training: LIBÂNEO (1999, 2001), as well as data derived from field research. The pedagogue is able to act in several areas, according to the National Curricular Guidelines of the Pedagogy Course of the National Council of Education (2006). Data have been taking on a worrying dimension. The pedagogical activity must be reviewed and valued, since there are several educational spaces that allow it to perform, mainly in the process of (re) education, (re) socialization and, above all, in the transformation of subjects.
